Colca Canyon Tour
ITINERARY:
Day 01 Arequipa - Chivay 08:00 am Leave Arequipa towards nor west direction, Yura small valley thermal springs, behind Chachani snow capped mountain, see wild vicuñas in Pampa Cañahuas, Tocra (small lakes with some birds like andean gooze, kara kara falcon flamingoes, black Ibis, etc). Lookout of the volcanoes Misti, Chachani, Pichu Pichu, Ampato, Sabancaya: (highest point = 4,700 msnm.), lookout of the Colca valley, arrive in Chivay (capital of the valley). Afternoon: visit to the thermal springs & pools.
Day 02 Chivay - Arequipa Early morning leave for a full day excursion in the left shore, beatiful tipical towns, churches, gently people with typical dresses, amazing amounts of pre-inca terraces still in use with andeangrowing, Lookout of the cross of the condor: see the deep of the canyon & the flight of the condors. Typical villages like Yanque & Maca. After lunch (not included), return to Arequipa. Arrival at 18:00 hours approximately. And transfer to your hotel.
